Contract Type

-Full-time, one-year contract (renewable based on performance)
40 hours a week
□Saiei International 13:00-22:00 or 12:00-21:00 (1 hour break)
□Coco's / SEEDS International Pre-school 9:00-18:00 or 8:30-17:30 (1 hour break)
-Part-time positions are also available

Work LocationSaitama, Chiba Prefectures and Tokyo
*Saiei International (English school) are located in 14 cities in Saitama, 1 in Chiba, and 1 in Tokyo.
*Coco's is located in Kawagoe, Saitama.
*SEEDS is located in Itabashi, Tokyo.

Vacations and

Responsibilities

□ Work five days per week (up to 40 working hours per week)
□ Prepare lessons based on a class curriculum
□ Prepare progress reports for students
□ Teach classes ranging in size from one to fourteen students
□ Do office work to help the school when required
□ Coco's / Seeds Teachers will be engaged in other various activities with the small children, such as eating lunch together, playing outside, gardening, making crafts, etc..

①The Senior Head Teacher will work with the Kyomu- Department. The department’s main task is to make and develop the curricula and the training program for the new teachers. The Senior Head Teacher will have to attend the monthly department meetings and help in making the curricula and training videos.

②Initial Training: The Senior Head Teacher will develop the new teachers’ skill set during their initial training with the following:

  • Teaching techniques
  • Lobby service
  • Interacting with students and talking with parents
  • Teaching classes of all levels
  • Eiken system
  • Comparison of the Eiken test compared to other English tests such as TOEFL, TOEIC etc.

③The Senior Head Teacher should fully understand the company’s policy and the Mission Statement, be a positive role model, strengthen the school’s teamwork, and help the growth of both students and staff.
