Contract Type

-Full-time, one-year contract (renewable based on performance)

Work LocationSaitama, Chiba Prefectures and Tokyo

-Initial two-week comprehensive training (paid) with additional training
available such as monthly training sessions and lesson quality checks to
develop teaching techniques

-Vacations and Holidays:

□ Two days off per week (Sunday and one weekday)

1. Golden Week (around 7 days)
2. Summer Vacation (around 7 days)
3. Winter Vacation (around 5 days)
4. Leave as stipulated in Japanese Labor Standards Law


Prospective Applicant Requirements

□ Must be a native-level English speaker
□ Friendly, flexible and constructive
□ Enthusiastic, professional and willing to learn
□ Must enjoy working with children and adult students
□ Eager to improve one’s teaching skills
□ Work well in a team

※Teaching experience is favorable, but not required.

□ Work five days per week (up to 40 working hours per week)
□ Prepare lessons based on a class curriculum
□ Prepare progress reports for students
□ Teach classes ranging in size from one to fourteen students
□ Do office work to help the school when required

I have been working for Saiei International for more than 4 years. As a teacher at Saiei, I am expected to go beyond my responsibil ities as a teacher. I also motivate, coach and train my students to be survivors in the global stage.

Our mission is centered on build ing the best foundation for our students by molding them the best they can be as they learn English. Aside from my students, one of the things I like about this job is the opportunity to advance my career as a teacher.
